What does BissCAT cost for customers?
Browsing, matching and receiving bids are free. When you book, a small service fee is shown as its own line before you pay — never hidden in the total.
Should I get bids or book directly?
Book directly when a listed package fits. Get bids when your event is custom, large or you want businesses to compete on value. Smart match sits in between: a ranked shortlist you can book or invite to quote.
Is my payment safe?
Yes. You pay a deposit at booking and the balance 7 days before the event. Your payment is held securely by BissCAT and released to the business only after the event.
How do allergies and dietary needs work?
You record dietary headcounts and allergens with severity. Severe allergies are pinned to the booking and must be acknowledged by the business. We can’t eliminate cross-contact risk, so always confirm details with the business.
What if the caterer cancels or is late?
The BissCAT Guarantee covers you: if a business cancels close to the event or doesn’t show, we find a replacement or refund you. Late arrivals trigger pre-agreed compensation.
Can my company pay by invoice?
Corporate accounts with invoices, PO numbers and approvals are coming soon. Every booking already includes GST tax invoices.
